Buy dried Mimosa bunch natural yellow - Offer*

Mimosa dried flower bunch for flower arranging. Mimosa is very popular as a seasonal dried flower. The fresh bloom can be found in florists for a short period during the winter. This delicate yellow flower is also known as Acacia and the botanical name is Acacia Mirandol. The woody branches bear feathery leaves and spikes of little yellow bobble flowers, each only a few millimetres across. Three or more branched stems supplied up to about 50cm - pics show one bunch. Dried by us in Sussex. Not for food use.

Our dry mimosa bunches are air dried and this natural process often causes a little shrinking of the flowers and a mild change in colour. The flowers in dry mimosa bunches are in shades of lemon yellow through dark yellow, mustard and khaki. The mid green leaves can be a little droppy, messy, and resemble pine needles. The stems are olive green to brown. These bunches tend to be more brittle but less expensive than chemically preserved flowers.

Seasonality is becoming better known in mainstream floristry, and dry florals are no different. Think cool blues, lavenders and silvers for winter, zingy vibrant colours for spring and Easter, pastels for early summer, hot colours for late summer, oranges and earth tones for autumn and traditional reds and greens for Christmas.

Use dry blooms, foliage and grasses to make a mixed bouquet as a gift or display in a vase for home decor. To make things easy, we have added filters for colour and bunch type (such as foliage, seed pods, dyed, woody etc) where appropriate in the sections above.

Gift bouquets can be expensive so why not buy a simple dry bunch, which often come tied simply with an elastic band, and add your own ribbon and tag for that personal touch?
