Dried oats bunch bleached to ivory - grasses to add an informal element to dried flower arranging and bouquets. Seconds*. Botanical name Avena. The stems of these dried grass bunches are up to 60cm long and the bunch is about one handful, being about 3cm diameter at the waist. These dried flower bunches are simply tied with elastic. Great for country crafts and decorations, use as a filler in between flowers and natural stems. Bunches of oats are not for food use. Bleached oats can be more brittle than natural oats.
*Seconds quality - we have reduced these bunches because they are more brittle than usual, meaning that the top 15cm has a tendancy to snap off the rest of the stem. This means they are still useful for smaller bouquets and arrangements, flower crowns and wreaths. They may be more prone to absorbing water in humid conditions. £3 off while stocks last.
A note about bleached items: Bleaching is a chemical process and may leave a residual chemical smell which some people find unappealing. Most people are not aware of a smell and we find that any remaining scent often disperses after a few days out of the packaging. If you think you might be sensitive to the fragrance of bleached items, we recommend sticking to our wide range of natural dried flowers and natural grasses.
