At Valentine’s Day you don’t need to buy a fresh bouquet of roses which will be in the bin in a few days. Here are a few alternatives for a more sustainable choice this February. If you choose dried flowers for Valentines Day they might last you a whole year!
Shop Valentines DayIf you still want to give a bouquet why not make it a dried one? Roses don’t grow in the UK in February, and according to Heathrow airport, 93% are air freighted in. Dried flowers don’t have a shelf life, so with luck, a dry bouquet might still be around this time next year!
At daisyshopUK we have a selection of bunches that would make a beautiful long-lasting gift, and they don’t have to be expensive either!
