Buy preserved foliage bunches of real Eucalyptus cinerea, with green-grey leaves. Each bunch consists of about four to six branched stems, just under 60cm long. This preserved dried foliage is made by treating the fresh stems and leaves with a chemical preservative such as glycernine, containing a colourant. The leaves are a great filler in dried flower arrangements, or break up for flower crowns. The leaves are 2 to 3 cm across and 3 to 5 cm long.
This dried foliage may not be colourfast in damp conditions.
A note about coloured and preserved items: this is a chemical process and may leave a residual chemical smell which some people find unappealing. Most people are not aware of a smell and we find that any remaining scent often disperses after a few days out of the packaging. If you think you might be sensitive to the fragrance of these items, we recommend sticking to our wide range of natural dried flowers and natural grasses.
