Buy preserved foliage bunch - a great filler for dried flower arrangements. These natural stems and leaves have been dyed green. Each very large bunch consists of 5 or more branched stems, up to about 90cm long - a substantial handful of branches. This is a bunch of real foliage, not artificial. Leaf size is typically 2 to 3 cm long. This preserved foliage is made by treating the fresh stems and leaves with preservative, such as naturally occurring glycerin, and a colourant. The dried leaves have been dyed mid green through dark moss green. Exact shade may vary as can be seen in images. A very big bunch for your money - we weighed a bunch and it was nearly a kilo! Botanical information - this plant is a relative of holly / ilex - it is not the very spiky Ilex aquifolium, but does still have a few! It is an evergreen with robust leaves which are darker and glossier on the top surface. RRP for such a large bunch would be £20+.

This preserved foliage may not be colourfast in damp conditions. These substantial bunches are often packed flat in transit.

A note about dyed items: There may be a residual chemical smell which some people find unappealing. Most people are not aware of a smell and we find that any remaining scent often disperses after a few days out of the packaging.
